How the Humanities stream works

One Foundation. Then your career.

Reading, synthesis, framing and narrative are humanities strengths, and AI makes each of them go further. The Humanities stream teaches BA and MA students to use AI in the careers their degree leads to: journalism, content, civil services, policy, the social sector, teaching and translation.

Questions humanities students ask.

Can't find your answer? Call 080 6945 1000 or WhatsApp us.

Can arts and humanities students learn AI?

Yes. Campus AI's Humanities courses need no technical background. Start with AI for ALL, then the 50-hour Humanities Foundation, then a specialisation such as AI-Assisted Journalism & Media or Public Policy, Governance & Digital India.

Who is the Humanities stream for?

It is for BA and MA students in English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Economics, Languages, Mass Communication, Journalism and Social Work, and recent graduates.

Where do I start?

With AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour foundation course, and then the 50-hour Humanities Foundation.

Do I have to take the Humanities Foundation first?

Several Humanities specialisations accept the Humanities Foundation or AI for ALL. Others ask for something specific instead: language proficiency for Foreign Language + AI Productivity and Translation & Localisation, and active exam preparation for UPSC / Civil Services with AI. Each course page lists its entry requirements.

How long are the courses?

Between 25 and 50 hours each, spread over 5 to 10 weeks. The Humanities Foundation is the longest, at 50 hours.

Are the courses online?

Yes. On your own, you study online with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session. Through a college partnership, courses can also be delivered on campus or through an LMS.

Do the courses include placement support?

Yes. Every Campus AI course includes a résumé and LinkedIn workshop and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.

Which certificate will I receive?

The Rooman Campus AI Certificate for each course you complete. It is a skill certificate with a completion record, not a UGC-approved degree.

Can I take more than one course?

Yes. You can take one course or bundle several, and bundles have EMI options. A counsellor can suggest a combination for your stream.

How can my college offer these courses?

Your college signs an MoU with Rooman, and Rooman delivers the courses as part of the degree: as an embedded course, an optional add-on or a skill certificate, on campus or through an LMS. The college pays a per-student licence, so students pay less than individual enrolment.
