How the Commerce stream works

Commerce graduates are hired into accounting, finance, BFSI, analytics, sales, marketing and operations, and more and more into fintech and data roles. Each of those jobs is changing with AI. The Commerce stream teaches the AI skills for them, starting with the Commerce Foundation.

Which AI course should a B.Com student take?
Start with AI for ALL, then the 60-hour Commerce Foundation. After that, pick the specialisation that matches the job you want, such as Business Analytics with Excel, Power BI & AI or Digital Finance & FinTech Operations.
Who is the Commerce stream for?
It is for B.Com, BBA, BBM, BAF, BBI, BFM and M.Com students, and recent graduates.
Where do I start?
With AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour foundation course, and then the 60-hour Commerce Foundation.
Do I have to take the Commerce Foundation first?
Most Commerce specialisations accept the Commerce Foundation as their entry route, and many also accept AI for ALL on its own or with a skill, such as strong Excel for Business Analytics. AI for MSME Owners needs only AI for ALL. Each course page lists its entry requirements.
How long are the courses?
Between 25 and 60 hours each, spread over 5 to 10 weeks. The Commerce Foundation is the longest, at 60 hours.
Are the courses online?
Yes. On your own, you study online with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session. Through a college partnership, courses can also be delivered on campus or through an LMS.
Do the courses include placement support?
Yes. Every Campus AI course includes a résumé and LinkedIn workshop and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.
Which certificate will I receive?
The Rooman Campus AI Certificate for each course you complete. It is a skill certificate with a completion record, not a UGC-approved degree.
Can I take more than one course?
Yes. You can take one course or bundle several, and bundles have EMI options. A counsellor can suggest a combination for your stream.
How can my college offer these courses?
