Who is this course for?

You need the Commerce Foundation, or strong Excel skills, before you start.
Is this for college students only?
Mostly, yes. Recent graduates and career-switchers are welcome too.
What do I need before I start?
You need to have completed AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour foundation course. You also need either the Commerce Foundation or strong Excel skills, because Module 2 starts with Power Query, Power Pivot and DAX.
Do I need to know coding?
No programming background is needed. SQL is taught from the basics in Module 6: SELECT, JOIN and GROUP BY, enough to query a database without help.
Does it cover Power BI in depth?
Yes. Two modules are on Power BI: fundamentals (Power BI Desktop, data modelling, relationships and measures) and advanced (DAX, custom visuals, drill-through and row-level security).
Does it prepare me for business analyst interviews?
Module 9 covers interview prep for BA roles: case studies, take-home assignments and behavioural questions.
How much time does it take?
45 hours over 9 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.
Is it online or classroom?
It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.
Will I get hands-on with real tools?
Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.
What is the capstone?
Build a full business analytics deliverable: ingest and clean raw data, build a Power BI dashboard, add AI-generated insight commentary and present it in a deck.
What can I do after this course?
You can add Digital Finance & FinTech Operations for finance workflows, or AI for Commerce Professionals for everyday office reporting. If you later want to build AI systems yourself, Rooman's Build AI track starts with AI Foundation.
Is this course AICTE or UGC approved?
It is a skill course from Rooman, not a UGC-approved degree. You receive the Rooman Campus AI Certificate and a completion record.
Will my college recognise this?
