Rooman's Entrepreneurship & Startup Operations is a 50-hour, 10-week online course for commerce and BBA students who want to start a business or join a startup operations team. Who is this course for?

The course is for commerce and BBA students who want to start their own business or join a startup operations team: aspiring student founders, future startup ops hires, freelancers building service businesses and family-business successors. Recent graduates are welcome too.

Is this for college students only?

Mostly, yes. Recent graduates and career-switchers are welcome too.

What do I need before I start?

You need to have completed AI for ALL (Rooman's 20-hour foundation course) or the Commerce Foundation. You also need to be a current commerce or BBA student, or a recent graduate.

Do I need a startup idea to join?

You need one for the capstone, where you validate your own idea, build an MVP and pitch it. Module 1 covers ideas and validation, so you can shape it during the course.

Do I need to know coding?

No. You build your website and MVP with no-code and AI tools such as Webflow and Lovable, and automate workflows with n8n, Zapier or Make.

Is it useful if I want to join a startup, not start one?

Yes. Future startup ops hires are one of the groups it is built for, and it covers CRM and ops systems, automation, finance and hiring.

How much time does it take?

50 hours over 10 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.

Is it online or classroom?

It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.

Will I get hands-on with real tools?

Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.

What is the capstone?

Pick a real startup idea of your own and validate it. Build an MVP with no-code and AI tools, write a pitch deck and pitch to a Rooman mentor panel.

What can I do after this course?

Is this course AICTE or UGC approved?

It is a skill course from Rooman, not a UGC-approved degree. You receive the Rooman Campus AI Certificate and a completion record.

Will my college recognise this?

Rooman's partner colleges may count it as a skill credit. Check with your college's placement officer.

Does the course include placement support?

Yes: a résumé and LinkedIn workshop, and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.

Which certificate will I receive?

The Rooman Campus AI Certificate, with a record of the course you completed.
