Who is this course for?
The course is for college students in any stream who are considering freelancing, gig work or entrepreneurship, alongside placement or instead of it. It suits students who want an independent income, students who do not want a traditional job, and aspiring agency founders.
Which freelancing platforms does it cover?
Fiverr, Upwork and Toptal, with a strategy for each. You also work with ChatGPT, Claude, no-code tools, and payment and invoicing tools.
Is this for college students only?
Mostly, yes. Recent graduates and career-switchers are welcome too.
What do I need before I start?
Completion of AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour entry course. The course is open to any college student in any stream, and to recent graduates. You do not need a Campus AI Foundation first.
Will I earn money during the course?
The capstone asks you to win and deliver one real paid client engagement, so you look for a client during the course. Income is not promised: Module 1 sets realistic income expectations, and what you earn depends on the clients you win.
Do I have to skip placement to take this course?
No. The course is for students considering freelancing or a startup alongside placement or instead of it.
How much time does it take?
30 hours over 6 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.
Is it online or classroom?
It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.
Will I get hands-on with real tools?
Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.
What is the capstone?
Win and deliver one real paid client engagement during the course, and document the work end to end.
What can I do after this course?
To go further on the business side, take Entrepreneurship & Startup Operations in the Commerce stream. For a content business, look at Digital Content & Influencer Economy in the Humanities stream. To organise your own work with AI, add the Productivity Superhuman Program.
Is this course AICTE or UGC approved?
It is a skill course from Rooman, not a UGC-approved degree. You receive the Rooman Campus AI Certificate and a completion record.
Will my college recognise this?
Rooman's partner colleges may count it as a skill credit. Check with your college's placement officer.
Does the course include placement support?
Yes: a résumé and LinkedIn workshop, and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.
Which certificate will I receive?
The Rooman Campus AI Certificate, with a record of the course you completed.
