Rooman's Foreign Language + AI Productivity is a 30-hour, 6-week online course for foreign-language students (French, German, Spanish, Japanese and others) and English students. You learn AI translation and post-editing, multilingual writing, localisation and cross-cultural business communication, then produce a bilingual deliverable in a capstone and earn the Rooman Campus AI Certificate.

What do I need before I start?
You need intermediate proficiency or above in the language you study, and you need to have completed AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour foundation course. The Humanities Foundation is not required.
Will this course teach me a new language?
No. It assumes intermediate proficiency or above and teaches you to use AI alongside the languages you already know.
Will AI translation make my language skills unnecessary?
The course is built on the opposite idea: AI works alongside your language skills. Module 6 covers what AI gets wrong and when human judgement matters.
How much time does it take?
30 hours over 6 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.
Is it online or classroom?
It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.
Will I get hands-on with real tools?
Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.
