PM Vishwakarma. Digital skills for traditional artisans.
Rooman's PM Vishwakarma programme delivers the digital literacy and IT skills part of training under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises' PM Vishwakarma scheme. It is for artisans and craftspeople in the scheme's 18 traditional trades, and training is free, with a daily stipend paid under the scheme.

Who it's for
Built for artisans and craftspeople.
The scheme is for self-employed artisans and craftspeople aged 18 or over in its 18 traditional trades, such as carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, tailors, barbers, masons and cobblers. One member of a family can benefit.

Entry requirements.
- Aged 18 or over, and self-employed in one of the 18 trades
- One member per family; government employees and their families are excluded
- No loan under a similar government self-employment scheme in the last five years (repaid MUDRA and PM SVANidhi loans excepted)

Capstone
Put your craft online. Then take a payment.
In the final session you photograph and list one of your products, share it online and complete a digital payment, with your instructor alongside.
Every module is hands-on, on your own phone where possible.

Your credential
PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card.
The PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card. Under the scheme, artisans are recognised with a PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card.
Under the scheme, basic training lasts 5 to 7 days and advanced training 15 days or more, with a daily stipend. The scheme also offers a toolkit incentive and collateral-free credit at a concessional interest rate. A counsellor explains the current amounts.

Who can join?
Self-employed artisans and craftspeople aged 18 or over in one of the scheme's 18 trades. One member per family can benefit, and government employees and their families are excluded.
Do I pay anything?
No. Training is free, and the scheme pays a daily stipend during training. A counsellor explains the current amount.
