Rooman's AI for Pharmacy & Clinical Research is a 40-hour, 8-week online course for B.Pharm, M.Pharm and BSc Pharmacy students. 03Clinical trial design intro6 hrs

How clinical trials are structured: phases, endpoints and the statistics behind them.

  • Trial phases I to IV: what each one tests
  • Choosing primary and secondary endpoints
  • Statistical considerations: sample size, randomisation and blinding
  • A first look at trial data in Python

You produce: an outline design for a hypothetical trial.

04AI for clinical trial documentation5 hrs

Draft protocols, informed consent forms and case report forms with AI, then review them properly.

05Pharmacovigilance with AI5 hrs

Use AI to support adverse event detection, signal management and case narrative writing.

06Regulatory writing with AI5 hrs

Write regulatory documents to ICH guidelines with AI help, and avoid common deficiencies.

07Medical writing4 hrs

Draft manuscripts, choose a journal and work through peer review.

08GxP compliance basics3 hrs

An overview of Good Clinical, Laboratory and Manufacturing Practice (GCP, GLP and GMP).

Which AI course should a B.Pharm student take?

Start with AI for ALL. Then take AI for Pharmacy & Clinical Research, which covers clinical trial design, AI-assisted trial documentation, pharmacovigilance, regulatory and medical writing, and GxP basics.

Is this for college students only?

Mostly, yes. Recent graduates and career-switchers are welcome too.

What do I need before I start?

You need a pharma background, such as a B.Pharm, M.Pharm or BSc Pharmacy course, and completion of AI for ALL. The Sciences Foundation is not required, and Python is covered only at an introductory level.

Does the course teach clinical decision-making?

No. It covers the research, documentation and data side of pharma: trial design, protocols, ICFs and CRFs, pharmacovigilance narratives and regulatory writing. It does not train you to make clinical decisions.

Do I need to know coding?

No. The prerequisites are a pharma background and AI for ALL. Python is covered only at an introductory level.

How much time does it take?

40 hours over 8 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.

Is it online or classroom?

It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.

Will I get hands-on with real tools?

Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.

What is the capstone?

What can I do after this course?

Is this course AICTE or UGC approved?

It is a skill course from Rooman, not a UGC-approved degree. You receive the Rooman Campus AI Certificate and a completion record.

Will my college recognise this?

Rooman's partner colleges may count it as a skill credit. Check with your college's placement officer.

Does the course include placement support?

Yes: a résumé and LinkedIn workshop, and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.

Which certificate will I receive?

The Rooman Campus AI Certificate, with a record of the course you completed.
