Rooman's Employability 4.0 is a 25-hour, 5-week online course for college students in any stream who are approaching placement. You learn how recruiters and ATS software screen candidates, build an AI-assisted résumé and LinkedIn profile, and prepare for group discussions and interviews, then complete a full mock placement cycle in a capstone and earn the Rooman Campus AI Certificate.

Many recruiters now screen applications with ATS software and AI tools before a person reads them. This course teaches the practical employability skills that follow from that: a résumé that screening software and people can both read, a LinkedIn profile that works for you, and interview practice with AI. It is open to any student, in any stream.

Who is this course for?
The course is for college students in any stream who are approaching placement, typically in the third year of an undergraduate degree. It suits final-year and penultimate-year students, including students from non-tier-1 colleges who want structured placement preparation.
Is this for college students only?
Mostly, yes. Recent graduates and career-switchers are welcome too.
What do I need before I start?
You need to be enrolled at college, in any stream, and to have completed AI for ALL, Rooman's 20-hour entry course. You do not need a Campus AI Foundation first.
Is this course only for engineering students?
No. It is for any college student, in any stream: Commerce, Humanities, Sciences or engineering.
Do I need to know coding?
No. The only prerequisites are current college enrolment and AI for ALL. You work with ChatGPT, Claude, LinkedIn, résumé tools, mock-interview platforms and AI presentation tools.
What is ATS, and why does it matter?
ATS stands for applicant tracking system: software recruiters use to screen applications. Module 1 covers what it looks for, and Module 2 shows you how to optimise and tailor your résumé for it.
How much time does it take?
25 hours over 5 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with one live cohort session each week.
Is it online or classroom?
It is taught online, with self-paced lessons and a weekly live cohort session, so it fits around college or work. Ask a counsellor about classroom batches.
Will I get hands-on with real tools?
Yes. Every tool listed on this page is used hands-on in cohort labs.
What is the capstone?
Complete a full mock placement cycle: an AI-assisted résumé, an optimised LinkedIn profile and three mock interviews, with written feedback.
What can I do after this course?
For deeper placement preparation, take AI for College Placement. Before your first internship, take AI for Internship Readiness. You can also add the Foundation for your stream, such as Campus AI · Commerce Foundation, Campus AI · Humanities Foundation or Campus AI · Sciences Foundation.
Is this course AICTE or UGC approved?
It is a skill course from Rooman, not a UGC-approved degree. You receive the Rooman Campus AI Certificate and a completion record.
Will my college recognise this?
Rooman's partner colleges may count it as a skill credit. Check with your college's placement officer.
Does the course include placement support?
Yes: a résumé and LinkedIn workshop, and help with internship matching. It is not one of Rooman's job-guaranteed programmes.
Which certificate will I receive?
The Rooman Campus AI Certificate, with a record of the course you completed.
